Telling time in Dutch is a common stumbling block, but once you know the formula, it's simple: hours first, minutes second.

Examples:
It's 3:15 → Het is drie uur vijftien
It's 7:30 → Het is half acht
It's 10:45 → Het is tien uur vijfenveertig
It's 5 o'clock → Het is vijf uur
