Quick Dutch Lesson 5: Simple Present – Regular Verbs

The simple present tense in Dutch is easier than many learners think. Most regular verbs follow a simple pattern: stem + t (for jij/zij/hij), or just the stem for ik/we/jullie.

Examples:
I work → Ik werk
You work → Jij werkt
He works → Hij werkt
We play → Wij spelen
They play → Zij spelen
